Colorful Long Exposure Portrait Shoot with Lily

It was a blast exploring color and motion and shapes with @humbleflowers for my final shoot of 2021.

Personally speaking, 2021 was a time of slowing down. Though I had some wonderful opportunities, professionally speaking, I shot less frequently and pulled out of many obligations. I spent much of my time journaling and connecting with friends and doing activities that ground me in my body. I grew more personally than any other time of my life, which isn’t to say it was all welcomed or pleasant growth. 2021 saw some of my lowest, darkest moments on this rock. But I survived, and more, I thrived. I learned that my strengths and capacities are much greater than I could’ve ever imagined, which gives me hope as I face the thought of what a new year can bring.

With this slowing down came much perspective and gratitude for my journey as a human and a creative. I want to thank all of you for your continued support and kindness through the years. I’m a lucky dude. You could be anywhere doing anything else but you choose to share some of your precious time and words with me. Your intentionality means the world to me. I hope this next year brings you joy and growth and love and peace.
